Art Road Nonprofit is the only 501c3 Nonprofit in Michigan actively bringing art class back into schools. Our goal in 2010 is to bring art class back to 1000 students. To achieve this goal we need to raise $231,000 by July 31, 2010 to be ready for the September start of the 2010 school year. Learn more about Art Road. |
Teachers who teach art road classes are often practicing artists in the community who come to share their skills with the students. Important problem-solving tasks are learned that help kids in all aspects of their lives. Are you a practicing artist with teaching skills who would like to help? Learn more. |
You can help Art Road by donating today. Donate of your time and volunteer at class or at an event. Offer to let kids tour your place of business where creative skills are used so they can see a real-world application of creativity. Learn more about how to help Art Road today! |
Adopt Mustang Sally!A $10,000 donation to Art Road will allow us to bring art class to 40 students for the entire school year. And, you will be the proud owner of Mustang Sally. Created on March 26, 2010 by 125 Art Road students and fourteen volunteers, the giant art dog was inspired by lovable thirteen-inch-tall "art dogs" created by students in our classrooms.
