Campers make artwork for Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe

Art Road students decorated a glass panel during a special Art Road camp at Edison Elementary School in Detroit.

Dr. Anne Marie McCarren, Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe, was instrumental in creating this opportunity. Her donation to the Beaumont Foundation made possible the Art Road Nonprofit Art Camp and the glass artwork created by the students and artist Todd Patrick.

The panel will be used in an original piece of art that is on display in Patient Registration at the Grosse Pointe hospital.

Adopt Mustang Sally!

A $10,000 donation to Art Road will allow us to bring art class to 40 students for the entire school year. And, you will be the proud owner of Mustang Sally. Created on March 26, 2010 by 125 Art Road students and fourteen volunteers, the giant art dog was inspired by lovable thirteen-inch-tall "art dogs" created by students in our classrooms.  Contact us if you want to know more about adopting Mustang Sally.
