In November of 2021 Drew Kups, Co-founder of the Michigan Glass Project started an Amazon wish list of much needed art supplies for the classroom. Donations of watercolors, paint, paper and more stated being delivered in early December 2021. Donations came in from many different people, including Andy, who donated is memory of his mother. His mother had a passion for supporting the arts including volunteer time with the DIA working on an “arts to schools” initiative. He felt that Art Road would have been an organization his mother would love and support and donated 100’s of supplies from the wish list in her memory. These donations allowed us to start the new school semester with a stocked supply closet. The students have already been using these supplies and are excited to continue to make some amazing art the rest of the school year.
